We just launched a new PlayWidget in collaboration with LifetimeTV.com. It's called "Be My Bra" and the goal is to empower people to spread awareness of breast cancer by creating a virtual character and sharing it with friends over email and through their blogs and social networking pages. We're thrilled to be a part of Lifetime's "Stop Breast Cancer for Life" campaign, which they'll be running throughout October, National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Please participate by checking out the PlayWidget and sending it along to your friends. It's an easy way to help raise awareness of this disease and the importance of early detection.
Lifetimetv.com, Largeanimal.com, and the PlayWidgets framework are all powered by Drupal, demonstrating once again that open source can be used to promote great causes.
